Isaiah 58:12
And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
the restorer of streets to dwell in.
Isaiah’s promise of hope
There were a lot of emotional ups and downs in Isaiah’s many prophecies. Sometimes he delivered sobering messages from the Lord, but sometimes he delivered wonderful messages of encouragement and hope. In his 58th chapter, he is tasked with reminding the people of the Lord how powerful they can be in this world when they follow the Lord. They are here called the repairers of the breach, and restorers of the streets. Let this tee be a great reminder to you and your fellow believers of what good the Lord can do through your obedience.
